To mark the launch of the two YF Life Voluntary Health Insurance Scheme (VHIS) certified plans, from now until July 31, 2019, a 2-month premium discount will be offered upon successful application for a TaxVantage Medical Plan (Standard Plan) or TaxVantage Plus Medical Plan (Flexi Plan).

TaxVantage Medical Plan is a VHIS certified standard plan offering a range of basic protections. The major highlight of the plan is guaranteed renewals up to the age of 100 with no “lifetime benefit limit”. Clients can also enjoy free choice of healthcare services providers and ward class, for a lifetime of quality medical insurance. The plan includes extensive coverage, ranging from surgery, hospitalization fees to various medical benefit items, including non-surgical cancer treatments (e.g., targeted therapy and immunotherapy), outpatient care for pre- and post- confinement or day-case procedure, prescribed diagnostic imaging tests (e.g., CT, MRI, PET), psychiatric treatment, and even a lump-sum benefit against medical negligence. To put clients at ease with comprehensive coverage at all times, the plan also covers unknown pre-existing conditions, with pro rata reimbursements in accordance with the number of policy years after taking up the plan. Before committing to any medical services, clients may also request for a free estimate of the claimable amount to make budgeting easier.

To cater to clients’ needs, YF Life also offers the more comprehensive TaxVantagePlus Medical Plan with eight different plans to choose from. Apart from all surgeries, therapies and hospitalization benefits covered in the TaxVantage Medical Plan, TaxVantage Plus Medical Plan offers a number of upgraded benefits, including a higher benefit limit and more comprehensive coverage, such as home nursing, renal dialysis, additional benefit for accident, optional extra major medical benefits, etc. The plan also covers unknown pre-existing conditions at the time of taking up the plan, without any waiting period. At the same time, the plan comes with a ‘no claim premium discount’ of up to 15%, to ensure clients will receive more reliable and trustworthy health protection. In addition, clients may choose to attach an Extra Cancer Benefit and Hospital Income Benefit (both non-tax deductible) according to their personal needs.
