YF Life Hosts “Second Life x Passive Income” Seminar
Experienced Financial Planners Share Asset Allocation Solutions Own the Future to Enjoy a Second Life

June 27, 2022

YF Life Insurance International Ltd. (YF Life) hosted its “Second Life x Passive Income” Seminar at the YF Academy on June 25. Mr. Ray Lee, Certified Financial Planner, and Mr. Gin Lee, Certified Trust Practitioner, were invited to share with the audience ways of creating a flourishing second life through a well-planned asset allocation.

Mr. Ray Lee kicked off with the four core elements of financial planning—insurance, investment, taxation, and legacy—of which “insurance” has the advantage of creating “passive income” and “second life”. He explained the importance of asset allocation and of adjusting the portfolio to cater to the various changes at different stages of a person’s life. Mr. Gin Lee then used “Infinity Saver 3”, a flagship product of YF Life, as a case demonstration to share how comprehensive planning makes wealth management more efficient, how an insurance savings plan can enjoy tax deductions overseas, and other financial knowledge, as well as how multiple currency policies can flexibly cater to one’s needs when living abroad.

The “Second Life x Passive Income” Seminar received an enthusiastic response and ended on a high note, thanks to the remarkable and insightful sharing of the two speakers.

Infinity Saver 3”, a flagship product of YF Life, contains three core elements of financial planning in one single policy: capital accumulation, retirement planning, and wealth legacy. The plan offers a choice of up to 8 policy currencies, including US Dollar (US$), British Pound (GBP), Australian Dollar (AUD), Canadian Dollar (CAD), Renminbi (RMB), Singapore Dollar (SGD), Hong Kong Dollar (HK$), and Macau Pataca (MOP)1, all of which can be flexibly changed in the future that best suits themselves. The plan not only offers Guaranteed Cash Value, but also non-guaranteed Annual Dividend and Terminal Bonus. With “snowball effect”, the projected Cash Value continues to accumulate, such that the projected total internal rate of return (IRR) can be as high as 7%2. The plan also provides a range of flexible funding arrangements, including a Premium Holiday of up to four years, allowing customers to manage their finances better. To meet the personalized retirement needs of different customers, the plan offers a broad range of 11 lifetime annuity options, which is unique in the market. In addition, customers may opt to transfer the policy ownership/change the Insured unlimited times to grow and share the wealth across the generations.
